• Idaho Fish and Game completes fish survey in the Snake River below American Falls Dam in Southeast Idaho (idahostatejournal.com) — If you fish below American Falls Dam, biologists just estimated about 2,000 rainbow trout in a single mile of the Snake River and tagged 200 trout to track catches and movement. Recent stocking has also added hundreds of thousands of rainbow trout to American Falls Reservoir, with more coming from Idaho Power, promising strong angling opportunities this winter.
