• 2026 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration in Pocatello will start with NAACP's Jan. 17 brunch (idahostatejournal.com) — Chubbuck will be formally recognized alongside Pocatello in a joint city proclamation during the NAACP’s Jan. 17 Martin Luther King Jr. brunch at ISU’s Pond Student Union. The event features guest speaker Stephen Weeg, reflections on Dr. King’s legacy, and announcements of local MLK holiday activities. Tickets are $25 and must be purchased in advance due to limited seating.
