• A race against extinction: Council couple travels to document purebred dogs (lmtribune.com) — Two Council residents are traveling the world to photograph and document every purebred dog breed, turning their passion and local dog-training experience into a global conservation project. Drawing on their work at The Canine Etiquette Academy in Council, they’ve already captured about 275 breeds and hope to publish multi-volume books preserving each breed’s history and unique character.
