• Idaho ER doctor donates his salary to help restore sight worldwide (kivitv.com) — An emergency room doctor based in Eagle is postponing retirement so he can donate his entire year’s salary to fund cataract surgeries that restore sight in poorer countries. After learning how low-cost procedures can cure preventable blindness, he chose to keep working long shifts in Idaho hospitals, saying the decision makes his day-to-day work far more meaningful.
   

• Sale of damaged Dry Creek Ranch home spawns web of lawsuits between Boise Hunter Homes, realtor, contractors and former owners (boisedev.com) — A complex lawsuit over foundation damage in Dry Creek Ranch now pulls in an Eagle realtor and an Eagle-based business, Idaho Wild and Old State Saloon, over what should have been disclosed to a buyer. Multiple parties, including the builder and subcontractors, are trading blame in court over who should cover the costs of alleged structural problems and repairs.
   

• Las Vegas man arrested in Eagle on felony charges after Donnelly shooting (ktvb.com) — A man wanted in connection with a shooting in Donnelly was arrested Tuesday night in Eagle after residents reported a suspicious person near Horseshoe Bend Road and State Street. Eagle and Garden City police helped Ada County deputies take him into custody without incident. Authorities say the victim suffered life-threatening injuries, and the suspect now faces multiple felony charges.
