• All-State: East Idaho earns 19 first-team selections, with Shelley's Higham, Hillcrest's Gines, and Butte County's Lyon and Simpson earning top honors (eastidahonews.com) — Genesee High School volleyball standouts earned major recognition on Idaho’s 1A All-State teams, with Chloe Grieser on the first team and Sydney Banks and Alia Wareham also honored. The statewide list, chosen by coaches, highlights top players and coaches from every classification, including several from nearby eastern Idaho schools that Genesee teams may face at state tournaments.
