- Residents in Idaho have the opportunity to provide feedback on the state's site selection process for new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at public meetings throughout June. The state is working on establishing a comprehensive network of EV charging stations with significant federal funding. The Idaho Falls Public Meeting will take place on Jun. 20 in the Center South Room at the Idaho Falls Activity Center at 5:00 p.m. (Idaho Capital Sun)
- The Idaho Falls Police Department has launched Project Home Safe, a program aimed at assisting lost or missing children and individuals with disabilities. Parents or legal guardians can submit information online, including photos and details about the individual's diagnosis and previous wandering incidents, which will be accessible to first responders in case of an emergency. The program is designed to help locate, interact with, and reunite vulnerable individuals with their families more quickly. (East Idaho News)
- The Idaho Falls Public Library has announced that parents will need to obtain new library cards for their children due to changes in access levels. The library now offers restricted and unrestricted child cards, allowing different levels of material access. Parents must visit the library in person to select a new card option for their children, and any existing holds on the child's card will need to be transferred accordingly. (East Idaho News)

- The Idaho Falls Water Division is conducting repairs on a water service line near the 500 block of Skyline Drive. Due to additional issues, the work is taking longer than anticipated, resulting in a traffic detour from Brentwood Drive to Westwood Street. (City of Idaho Falls Government)
- Stop by the Idaho Falls Zoo from 10:30 a.m. - noon or 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. to hang out and brush Nigerian dwarf goats. The sheep and goat contact yard is a great place to get up close and personal with these animals. (Idaho Falls Zoo via Facebook)
