  1. Two Free Little Art Galleries, resembling free little libraries, have been installed outside the Museum of Idaho and the Art Museum of Eastern Idaho in Idaho Falls. Managed by the Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corporation, these boxes provide a platform for people to share and access art. Artists can contribute small art pieces, such as paintings, drawings, and photographs, while anyone passing by can take home the artwork they like. The initiative aims to promote the creation and exchange of art in the community, and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and Art Out Night event are scheduled for Jul. 6. (East Idaho News)
  2. An accident involving a motorcycle and a bicycle on North River Road has resulted in the death of Arn Peter Berglund, a 70-year-old man from Idaho Falls. According to the Bonneville County Coroner, Berglund succumbed to a traumatic head injury. Initial investigations suggest that Berglund was attempting a U-turn to head south when he was struck by the passing motorcycle. (East Idaho News)
  3. A juvenile has been taken into custody after a rancher in the Swan Valley area reported the shooting and killing of five cows. The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident and, with the help of information from nearby ranchers, identified a vehicle of interest associated with the killings. Deputies made contact with a teenager associated with the car, who admitted to the crime. The juvenile has been arrested and faces multiple felony charges for injury to property, with the estimated value of the lost livestock exceeding $22,000. (KESQ 3)
