Here are the top three stories today in Idaho Falls:

  1. Pancheri Drive in Idaho Falls is undergoing construction to upgrade the natural gas delivery system around the Snake River Landing area. Intermountain Gas is installing new piping and will be moving the pipeline underwater by boring under the Snake River. The project is progressing well and is expected to be completed by Jul. 4, with minimal impact on gas customers, and drivers are advised to exercise caution around the construction site until the project is finished. (Local 8 News)
  2. The College of Eastern Idaho is hosting a four-day STEM workshop for educators across the state, focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math education. The i-STEM Institute has expanded the course to six different locations in Idaho, with this year's theme being "Step up to STEM: Increasing Integration." The workshop offers various sessions aimed at helping teachers integrate STEM knowledge and passion into their schools and communities, providing them with materials to implement in their classrooms for the upcoming school year. (Local 8 News)
  3. Idaho Falls Pride is hosting a free and family-friendly event featuring a panel of LGBTQIA+ community members who will share their stories and engage in a Q&A session with the audience. The event aims to provide healing and connecting experiences for community members and their families, fostering a sense of support and inspiration. Attendees can expect to be inspired and feel the love of their community through the shared stories of pain, resilience, and purpose. (Idaho Falls Pride via Facebook)
