🌱 South Hit Road Expansion Project Underway + Job Fair Tomorrow

Here are the top three stories today in Idaho Falls:

1. Construction began Monday on a project to expand South Hitt Road. Officials say drivers should expect some traffic delays while crews work to add new curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and street lights to the roadway. The project is expected to be completed in the fall, weather permitting. (East Idaho News)
2. The Idaho Falls Department of Labor will host a job fair tomorrow, Jun. 14, at its office at 1515 East Lincoln Road. The fair will feature employers with some of the most job openings in the region, including HK Contractors, Idaho Rural Water, the University of Idaho, and others. Job seekers are encouraged to drop by between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to explore opportunities. (LocalNews8.com)
3. A new car dealership has opened its doors in Idaho Falls. The Young Automotive Group held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its Mazda dealership last Friday, Jun. 9, though the business officially launched on Mar. 1. The dealership plans to move to a new, 22,000-square-foot facility next year. (East Idaho News)
