• Middleton neighborhood turns holiday lights into a growing community tradition (kivitv.com) — Stonehaven neighbors in Middleton have turned their Christmas light displays into a big, community-wide tradition, complete with judging help from the Middleton Police Department and a “Clyde and Seek” game featuring a decorative dog. With about three-quarters of the subdivision participating, residents say the lights, food drives for the Middleton Pantry, and year-round events are helping families feel more connected and at home.

• Basketball Recap: Central East Takes a Loss (maxpreps.com) — Middleton High’s Vikings girls basketball team continued their strong run with a 61-37 win over Central East, pushing their record to 8-3 and five wins in their last six games. Led by standout performances from Zoey Blackwell and Miley Steele, Middleton has repeatedly won by big margins and now looks ahead to a January 6 matchup with Centennial.
