Mike Crapo, Jeanne Shaheen reintroduce bill to expedite recovery of missing servicemembers (argusobserver.com) — Parma is at the heart of this story, as Idaho recently welcomed home the remains of 2nd Lt. Charles Atteberry, a World War II servicemember from the town who was missing for more than 80 years. In response, Sens. Mike Crapo and Jeanne Shaheen have reintroduced a bipartisan bill to make it easier for families and caseworkers to access records needed to recover POWs and MIAs, including hundreds of Idahoans still unaccounted for.
