• Student suspended after alleged incident (bonnercountydailybee.com) — A Sandpoint High School student has been suspended after district officials investigated an alleged threat reported Sunday and determined it was not credible, with help from campus security and the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office. Lake Pend Oreille School District says safety protocols were followed, encourages families with concerns to contact the school, and reminds residents of Idaho’s 24-hour school safety tip hotline.
   

• County appoints three to volunteer boards (bonnercountydailybee.com) — Bonner County commissioners in Sandpoint have filled key volunteer roles on the Waterways Advisory Committee and the Zoning Commission, shaping decisions on lakes, public access, and land use. New appointees from Sagle, Priest River, and beyond will advise on everything from boating issues to development hearings, influencing how residents enjoy local waters and how future projects are reviewed.
   

• Flood Damage Near Sandpoint, Idaho (idahonews.com) — Heavy flooding has washed out Forest Service Road 293 and triggered a landslide on Road 231 near Sandpoint, and officials are urging the public to stay away from the unstable Upper Pack River Road area. Crews are assessing damage, warning of possible additional slides, and have not given any estimate for when these roads might reopen.
