  1. A Twin Falls man has been charged after multiple vehicle burglaries. On Monday morning, police responded to a call about two males casing cars and spray painting a car and garage. When officers arrived, they found the men matching their description on the 300 block of Crestview. One of the men fled before police could catch him; 21-year-old Carlos Jose Lopez, however, was found carrying items that were allegedly stolen from other vehicles around that location. He now faces multiple charges of burglary and attempted burglary along with misdemeanor counts of theft, and possession of stolen property. (Subscription: Times-News)
  2. A man pulled a gun on an individual at a bar in Twin Falls. James Rollins, 60, has been charged with aggravated assault and battery after threatening another man with a pistol. Rollins allegedly hit the man over the shoulder with a pool cue at the Klover Klub around 11:20 p.m. after which the man pursued Rollins out of the bar. Once outside, Rollins stood holding his gun at the man, causing him to go back inside; police used the security footage at the bar to track the suspect and bring him into custody. The suspect's preliminary hearing is on Jun. 2. (Subscription: Times-News)
  3. The Annual Gordy’s HWY 30 Music Festival is back and will bring in country music performers from around the globe. As one the biggest events in the Magic Valley, the festival provides the city with a lot of economic stimulation over the four-day music fest and is expected to have a turnout of 30,000+ people from all over the U.S. The festival takes place at the Filer Fairgrounds in just a couple of weeks; tickets are nearly sold out as of the time of writing.
