• A holiday miracle! Gas prices fall again in the Gem State (kmvt.com) — Twin Falls drivers are still paying the most for gas in Idaho, with the average price at $3.06 a gallon despite statewide prices dipping below $3. While many states now enjoy cheaper fuel, Twin Falls has only seen a modest 12-cent drop this week, even as crude oil prices continue to fall. 
• Outfitter, guide sentenced for Lacey Act violations after hosting hunts in closed area (kivitv.com) — Illegal guided bighorn sheep hunts in a closed area of the Salmon-Challis National Forest have led to federal Lacey Act sentences for two Idaho guides, with a related case tied to poaching south of Twin Falls. Both men must pay fines and restitution totaling $24,500 each and face multi‑year bans on hunting, guiding, or profiting from hunts.
• School Bus Drivers Airlifted, Students Treated Following Southern Idaho Crash (dailyfly.com) — A serious Monday morning crash involving two school buses on State Highway 25, east of Twin Falls near Paul, sent both drivers and at least one student by air ambulance to hospitals. Seventeen students were on board; four were taken to local hospitals with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening, and all have since been reunited with families. State Police are still investigating the cause.
