  1. A man from nearby Filer won $90k in the Idaho Lottery. Dennis Bell was playing The Big Spin game when he won a digital spin which he took to the Maverick in Twin Falls. His spin landed Bell a $90,000 prize, which is the largest prize in the game's history. There are still five top-prize tickets left that grant a chance to win up to $125,000. (KMVT)
  2. The College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls is adding varsity soccer programs in the fall of 2024. The School will compete in the Scenic West Athletic Conference, and player recruitment will focus on local and regional students in neighboring states. The search for a coach has started in preparation for the upcoming season. The CSI campus will have practice fields for the team and home games will be played at a site south of Jerome. (KTVB.com)
  3. A missing Gooding man may have been last seen in Twin Falls. Roger Driesel, 58 has been missing for over a week, which the family and the small town say is very unlike him. He was last seen at his girlfriend’s nephew’s residence on May 15, where reports say he got into a verbal altercation and left with people unknown to the family in a gray or silver SUV. The most recent potential sightings have come out of Twin Falls from the west side of town between Washington and Rock Creek Park near Addison. The family is asking anyone with information to call the Gooding Police Department. (MSN)

  • KLIX has assembled a list of things to do before summer begins. Suggestions include getting the weeds and lawn cut down early, spraying your house for bugs, and checking your HVAC to make sure it will work to combat the summer heat. (News Radio 1310 KLIX)
  • The Orpheum Theatre will be presenting the play Tuck Everlasting from Jun. 9 -19. The play is about an 11-year-old girl who has never left her house or yard, until one day she does and finds a family that has eternal youth.   • The City of Twin Falls has released the road closures for the Western Days Parade on Saturday, Jun. 3. Falls Avenue will be closed beginning at 7:00 a.m., and other roads on the parade route will be closed at 8:00 a.m. Drivers are advised to expect delays and detours.
