  1. Last Sunday, Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley organized its annual build, which provides stable housing for low-income families who would not otherwise be able to afford a home. Over 200 volunteers came together to build the home, and the United Methodist Church assisted by raising over $18,000 for the project. Habitat for Humanity is still seeking additional support from community members and partners who are interested in volunteering time, resources, or land. (KMVT)
  2. The "Launch a Legacy" capital campaign by The Children's Museum of the Magic Valley is underway. This campaign aims to raise funds for a new 14,000-square-foot building in downtown Twin Falls. This new museum will serve as a community resource that will provide educational programming while being a fun-filled place that the children of south-central Idaho will enjoy. The museum will emphasize the power of play, arts and humanities, STEAM outreach, and literacy. (Times-News)
  3. The Shoshone Falls After Dark shows are back this month for another round thanks to increased water flow. Known as the "Niagara of the West," Shoshone Falls is illuminated by Midnight Production Studios in Twin Falls and creates dazzling shows at one of Idaho's most iconic landmarks. Dates are scheduled throughout the month of July, and fans are encouraged to buy tickets ahead of time. (East Idaho News)
