- The Joslin Field Celebration Airshow in Twin Falls is taking place this Saturday, Jun. 17 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Magic Valley Regional Airport. The free show will feature more than just planes; two skydiving teams will also take part in the show, in addition to historic aircraft, including World War II bombers. - The Twin Falls Police Department recently launched a new online reporting tool. Citizens living within city limits can report ongoing traffic safety concerns, including speeding vehicles, vehicles running stop signs, reckless driving, failing to yield at crosswalks, and other hazardous traffic operations. - World Refugee Day is coming up on Tuesday, Jun. 20, but Twin Falls will hold a celebration this weekend. The College of Southern Idaho Refugee Program will host the Magic Valley Refugee Day Celebration this Friday, Jun. 16 at Twin Falls City Park at 6:00 p.m. The event will include free food from around the world, cultural performances, music, speakers, and kids' activities. - Delta Airlines is bringing new flights to Joslin Field in Twin Falls. Once the service is ready, the airline will offer two round-trip flights between Salt Lake City. (News Radio 1310 KLIX)
- St. Luke’s Magic Valley unveiled a new COVID-19 memorial earlier this week to honor those who passed due to the COVID-19 virus and to remember the overall impact of the pandemic. The memorial is located in front of the intensive care unit wing and is open to the public, so long as visitors check in through the front entrance. (KMVT)
