Mall Hours: Christmas Eve 2018 In Illinois

ILLINOIS —'Tis the season to spread holiday cheer and feel the joy of giving loved ones that something special. If you're still looking for presents to leave under the tree, you've still got some time left— and Chicago-area shopping centers are accommodating last-minute Christmas shoppers with extended holiday hours.

While nearly every area shopping center is closed on Christmas — Tuesday, Dec. 25 — so employees can enjoy the holiday with their loved ones, some retailers and grocery stores do have Christmas Day hours and many area movie theaters will be open. And most malls have extended their hours in the days leading up to Christmas Eve.

Here are the holiday hours for area shopping centers now through Christmas Eve. Hours for department stores and retailers, not to mention movie theaters, within each mall may vary. Click the links for more information, including New Year's Eve and New Year's Day hours.
