3 People Hospitalized After Fox River Boat Crash

A head-on collision between two boats on the Fox River has put three people into the hospital.

Reports the Northwest Herald:

The Cary, Fox River Grove, Nunda Rural and Barrington Countryside fire protection districts responded at 9:46 p.m. Saturday to a boat crash on the Fox River near River Road and Midway Drive, Cary Fire Protection District Lt. Andy Veath said.

Surrounding boaters had gone to the aide of the boats, including a pontoon taking on water, and got everyone to safety, Veath said.
