Coroner IDs McHenry Man, 61, Killed In Crash

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — The McHenry Coroner has released the name of a 61-year-old man killed in a crash in January.

Michael De Brock, 61, of Spring Grove, was involved in a two-car crash near the intersection of Main Street and Villa Vista Street in Spring Grove on Jan. 24. He was taken to Northwestern McHenry Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, according to the Lake County Coroner's Office news release.

An autopsy shows he died from blunt force injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
