Food Chains Offering Seasonal Deals, Items In Algonquin Area

ALGONQUIN, IL — The holiday season is a time for spending time with family and giving back, but it’s also good for buying fun, specialty menu items and scoring on sweet deals in Algonquin and McHenry County.

Many national chain restaurants are now offering limited-time items in the lead up to the holidays.

Here are some of the best deals being offered by national chain restaurants in the Algonquin area.

Baskin Robbins — (15 S. Randall Road, Algonquin): The Caramel Delight Ice Cream Cookie Torte is now available for the holiday season. It’s a chocolate chip cookie crust topped with Gold Medal Ribbon ice cream and sprinkled with caramel and fudge toppings.

Chick-fil-A — (4812 Northwest Hwy, Crystal Lake): The popular fast food chain is offering a seasonal Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake priced at $3.65 for a small and $4.15 for a large.

Denny’s — (200 Springhill Road, Carpentersville): The chain is offering a variety of tasty holiday delicacies: Apple Bourbon Crêpe Breakfast, Cinnamon Roll Pancake Breakfast, Double Chocolate Pancake Puppies. The fast food restaurant is also offering a pecan and pumpkin pie.

Dunkin’ — (1469 S. Randall Road, Algonquin; 1319 E. Algonquin Road, Algonquin): Come enjoy a medium latte, cappuccino or Americano at your local Dunkin’ for $2 during the holiday season. The new Holiday Brownie Crumble Donut is also available, if you’re looking to change up your typical order.

IHOP — (6606 NW Hwy, Crystal Lake; 4228 W Elm Street, McHenry): The house of pancakes restaurant is breaking out a whole new seasonal menu for the holidays. Come into any restaurant to try the Elf on the Shelf holiday menu, which includes everything from four green pancakes to Oh What Funnel Cakes.

McDonald's — (125 S. Randall Road, Algonquin; 500 E. Algonquin Road, Algonquin): Hustle over to McDonald's; the Donut Sticks sprinkled with cinnamon sugar are back for a limited time.

Popeyes — (McHenry County locations): We all know about the famous chicken sandwich, but the restaurant is also offering a new seasonal Bourbon Fudge Pie for $2.49 a slice.

Starbucks — (Algonquin locations): There may be no food and drink establishment more famous for its seasonal menu items than Starbucks. The coffee house has brought back the Peppermint Mocha drink as well as other festive items.

Subway — (Algonquin locations): The fast food sandwich chain is now offering a Green Eggs and Ham Sandwich.

White Castle — (241 North Randall Road, Algonquin): White Castle is usually known for its sliders, but the fast food chain is now offering the tasty Mac & Cheese Nibblers until Jan. 2.
