Heavy Police Presence Reported After Shooting In McHenry County
The McHenry County Sheriff's Office responded to the shooting in the 8900 block of East Tyron Grove Road in unincorporated Wonder Lake.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Authorities are investigating a shooting that happened near Wonder Lake Thursday morning.
The McHenry County Sheriff's Office was called to the 8900 block of East Tyron Grove Road in unincorporated Wonder Lake at about 11:05 a.m. for a report of two people who were possibly shot, according to the sheriff's office news release.
Roadways were closed in the area of the shooting but have since been reopened. Police said there is no threat to the public and the shooting remains under investigation.
