Katherine M. Eisenmann, 70, of Woodstock, Formerly of Crystal Lake

Katherine M. Eisenmann, of Woodstock and formerly of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully Nov. 2, 2013, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, surrounded by her loving family. 

Katherine was born Nov. 15, 1942, in Chicago, the daughter of Anthony and Margaret (nee Foydo) Montrym. 

Her early years were spent working in her parents' store on the west side of Crystal Lake.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, trips to Wisconsin and being outdoors. Her great joy was making quilts, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Survivors include her loving husband, Fred, whom she married in 1962; beloved mother of Fred III and Robert; cherished grandmother of Meghan and Zachary; dearest sister of Thomas Montrym and dear friend of Sharon Duffy, Norea Beasley and Bonnie Nunes. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepfather, Tom Vesey. 

Services and interment will be private.
