Lake In The Hills Pair Charged In Bike Shop Robbery: Police

Nathaniel Fletcher and Heather Zamet were arrested after police said they walked into a bike shop, said they had a gun and demanded money.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — Two Lake In the Hills residents have been charged in connection with a hold-up that took place at a Hoffman Estates bike shop on Monday, police said.

Nathaniel Fletcher, 21, and Heather Zamet, 30, were charged on Tuesday after police said that the pair walked into Crank Revolution Bike Shop on Algonquin Road in Hoffman Estates, said they had a gun and demanded money, police said.

Officers arrested the two residents a short time after and the Cook County State’s Attorney approved charges on Tuesday, the department said.

Fletcher has been charged with aggravated robbery, resisting arrest, battery and possession of drug paraphernalia, officials said. Zamet has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, fleeing and eluding police and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The two residents were expected to appear in bond court on Wednesday.
