Lakewood Leaders Considering Sale of Redtail Golf Course

Lakewood leaders are considering selling RedTail Golf Club, which has been a course of dispute since the village purchased it with the support of taxpayer money, the Northwest Herald reports. 

Village President Erin Smith in the community newsletter said the board at its upcoming Oct. 22 meeting will discuss an agreement with a brokerage firm to list the golf course for $1.9 million, considerably less than the $3.5 million, 20-year-bond the village paid for it nearly two decades ago, the Herald reports. 

Redtail is located at 7900 RedTail Dr. in Lakewood.
