Lockdown: Community High School District 155 on Lockdown
The district Web site indicates that students can move between classes, but no one is allowed in or out of the building.
Students arriving at school in Crystal Lake Community High School District 155 Monday were met with additional police presence on campus, according to the district’s Web site.
“We are working with Crystal Lake police and our school resource officers to investigate an off-campus incident,” the site stated. “As part of this investigation, every District 155 school is now on a soft lockdown.”
The district’s Web site stated in bold letters that there is no immediate danger.

“This is a precautionary measure and we do not believe there is any immediate danger for our students or employees,” it stated.
