Man Sentenced To Prison In Domestic Battery Case
McHenry County Judge Mark Gerhardt has sentenced Joshua D. Hachmeister to four years in prison.

WONDER LAKE, IL — A Wonder Lake man was sentenced last week in a McHenry County domestic battery case.
McHenry County Judge Mark Gerhardt has sentenced Joshua D. Hachmeister to four years in prison after Hachmeister pleaded guilty to domestic battery, which is a Class 4 felony.
On February 5, officers with the Wonder Lake Police Department were dispatched to the 8400 block of Alden Road for a report of a domestic. When they arrived, officers spoke with Hachmeister’s girlfriend, who told officers that Hachmeister was angry with her when she refused to participate in a sex act, according to prosecutors.

Hachmeister got on top of her, and they both ended up on the floor. While Hachmeister was on top of her, he put his hand over the her moth, according to a news release from the McHenry County State's Attorney's Office.
