Masked Robbers Steal From ATM At Bank In Lake In The Hills

Police say several suspects wearing masks approached the ATM while it was being serviced by a technician Tuesday evening.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — Several people wearing masks stole money from an ATM at Lake in the Hills bank in Lake in the Hills, authorities said.

Several suspects wearing all black and ski masks approached the ATM at the Bank of America, which is located in the 200 block of Randall Road, while it was being serviced by a technician and stole from the machine at about 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the Lake in the Hills Police Department.

They then fled in a dark-colored sedan on Randall Road in an unknown direction. No one was injured and authorities are continuing to investigate the robbery.
