McHenry County Man Gets 5 Years For Cocaine Delivery

Eric Hernandez was sentenced by a McHenry County judge after pleading guilty to felony delivery of a controlled substance, officials said.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Patrick Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announced Wednesday that Eric Hernandez, 29, was sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by McHenry County Judge Michael Coppedge, according to a news release from the McHenry County State's Attorney's office. Hernandez was sentenced after pleading guilty to felony delivery of a controlled substance, stemming from when he sold cocaine to a confidential informant on Feb. 28, according to the news release.

This case was investigated by members of the McHenry County Sheriff’s department, and was prosecuted by Brian Miller of the McHenry County State's Attorney's office, the release said.
