McHenry Man Found Guilty Of Cocaine Delivery

According to the McHenry County State's Attorney's office, the felony offense took place during June 2017.

MCHENRY, IL — A McHenry man was found guilty of felony delivery of a controlled substance (1 to 15 grams of cocaine) following a negotiated plea Monday before Judge Michael Coppedge, announced Patrick Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, in a release from the state's attorney's office. Along with the plea, 27-year-old David D. McDow, was sentenced to 7 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC), according to the release.

On June 10, 2017, Woodstock Police Department officers responded to a traffic crash involving McDow, and while investigating located 12 bags of cocaine, the release said.

The bags weighed 6.18 grams and were packaged for sale, according to the state's attorney's office.

Members of the Woodstock Police Department investigated the case, and Robert Ladd of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office was the prosecutor.
