No Identification Released in Train Death
McHenry County Coroner Anne Majewski does not expect to release an identification before Monday.

The McHenry County Coroner is investigating the death Thursday afternoon of a pedestrian who was hit by a train in Woodstock.
The victim was hit by a westbound Union Pacific Northwest Line Metra train just after 1 p.m.
In a written release, McHenry County Coroner Anne Majewski said no additional information will be released as the investigation is ongoing.

“Identification is pending scientific methods,” she said in a phone interview. “We have a certain standard of identification that we need to follow.
“An identification might not come up over the weekend.”
