Happy Halloween, Algonquin and Lake in the Hills!
Here's hoping the rain will go away by the time all the little monsters, pirates and princesses hit the street for a fun night of trick-or-treating.
Trick-or-treating hours in Algonquin are from 3 to 7 p.m. today.
The Village of Lake in the Hills' recommended trick-or-treating hours are from 2 to 8 p.m.
And don't forget, the Lake in the Hills Police Department is hosting its 10th Annual Safety Town Trick-or-Treat form 3 to 6 p.m. today at the 1109 Crystal Lake Road, Lake in the Hills (next to the Police Department headquarters).
This event is free, and a safe way for kids to collect candy safely.
