As the 2022 Winter Olympics kick off, let’s come together to celebrate the spirit of competition. We’ll take on exciting challenges, contests, and sporting events right here in Lake in the Hills at our Winter Weekend on Woods Creek Lake! Surrounded by beautiful hills on the east side of town, Woods Creek Lake will be a hub of wintertime fun from February 5-6. Check out the fun-filled schedule below!

SATURDAY
Enter the 4-on-4 Pond Hockey Classic for adults 18+ on February 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Indian Trail Beach, 228 Indian Trail. Hockey players will embrace the opportunity to play outside where the game began! Click here to register!
While you're rooting for your neighbors in the tournament, bring your little one to come read with us from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Walk through an interactive display of “Snow Friends” by M. Christina Butler at Indian Trail Beach and explore activities that go along with the book! Click here to learn more!

Anglers, cast your lines and compete in our Ice Fishing Derby on Sunday, February 6 from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Check in at the LaBahn Hain House, 149 Hilltop Drive. This all-ages event promises fun for the whole family! Click here to learn more and register!
Let your little hockey player experience the game where it started, outside! Register for our Youth Pond Hockey day on Sunday, February 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Indian Trail Beach, 228 Indian Trail. Kids ages 6-10 of all skill levels are invited to come out to skate on the frozen lake, take on hockey skills challenges, and have fun playing with other children. Sunday's competitive energy will go beyond the ice! Avid cooks and bakers, test your skills in our Chili-Off and Cookie Bake-Off on Sunday, February 6 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the LaBahn Hain House! Click here to learn more and register!
No ice? No problem. We’ll still have a blast! We’ll play street hockey and host a regular fishing derby. We can't wait to see you at our Winter Weekend at Woods Creek Lake and make new memories with our awesome community.
