Woman, 70, Killed In Randall Road Crash

KANE COUNTY, IL — A 70-year-old Huntley woman was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash on Randall Road in Carpentersville Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

The collision happened at about 4:50 p.m. when a car headed north on Randall Road, attempting to turn left onto Bonnie Road, was hit by a sports utility vehicle headed south on Randall Road, according to a news release from the Carpentersville Police Department.

The driver of the car, a 70-year-old Huntley woman, was taken to Sherman Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
