Alsip Police Searching For Person Connected To Road Rage Shooting
Police said that the driver of a Chevy is being sought after investigators said that he shot another person in the head during a dispute.
ALSIP, IL — Alsip Police are still searching for a person that they say shot another man in the head during a road rage incident over the weekend.
Police said on Sunday that they were called to the 3600 block of Scott Drive around 11 a.m. on Saturday when they were told about a reported road rage incident in the 12000 block of Pulaski.
Police said that the driver of a maroon Chevy four-door vehicle followed the occupants of a silver Pontiac Grand Prix to Scott Drive where occupants of both vehicles got into a verbal altercation.

The driver of the Chevy then fired one shot, police said, and struck a passenger riding inside the Pontiac in the head, police said. The victim was taken to Christ Advocate Medical Center after he was alert and was speaking with paramedics at the scene.
Police described the person in the Chevy as having dreadlocks and he was last seen driving west on 123rdPlace. Alsip Police did not respond immediately to an email from Patch on Tuesday seeking an update on the investigation.
