The Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship provides full tuition and college housing and is renewable for up to four years. Applicants must demonstrate a strong caddie record, excellent academic performance, financial need, and outstanding character. Caddies primarily from the Midwest apply through the Evans Scholars Foundation of the Western Golf Association with a recommendation from their club’s caddie master.

Following a competitive interview process, approximately 280 caddies are selected annually. Scholars submit a list of preferred colleges, with final placement determined by the selection committee.
