BLUE ISLAND, IL — Bevlab Animal Hospital, 2949 W. 127th St., Blue Island, will showcase its newly renovated hospital for clients and the community, Saturday, Jan. 14. The open house runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bevlab has been serving the South Side and suburbs for 50 years. The building was completely gutted and renovated into a new, state-of-the-art animal hospital, featuring a new surgical suite and ICU, where pets can recuperate in a warm, quiet place. The spacious, bright lobby features separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats.

Also highlighted is the new dental suite. It’s estimated that by age three, more than 80 percent of dogs and more than 85 percent of cats suffer from dental problems. Poor dental health can lead to a variety of serious health concerns for pets. Dental cleanings will start in May after renovations are complete.
