South Side Irish Parade Golf Outing Marks 'Half Way To Parade Day'
The mid-year golf outing fundraiser tees off Sept. 26 at Ridge Country Club, featuring 18 holes, cart, golfer gifts, raffles and more.

CHICAGO – The annual South Side Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade golf outing marks the “Halfway to Parade Day” and serves as a mid-year fundraiser for the Beverly-based parade to help offset the increasing costs of parade operation.
The golf outing is set for Sept. 26 at Ridge Country Club,10522 S California Ave., Chicago, and the tickets to win one of four raffle prizes are open for purchase at South Side Irish Parade “Halfway to Parade” golf outing.
The Grand Prize winner for 2025 will receive two round-trip tickets on Southwest Airlines to anywhere in the U.S., including Hawaii, plus gift cards to local businesses with a total value of $6,000.

Second prize is an Ooni Pizza Kitchen or Golden Tee Machine; third prize is a customer 10-by 10-pop-up tent and cooler; and fourth prize is a golf foursome at Ridge Country Club.
Tickets to the golf outing are $250 for individuals, $1,000 for foursome, and includes 18 holes of golf with cart, golfer gifts, raffles and on course games, including the longest drive and closest to the pin.

“We greatly appreciate area businesses who support the annual South Side Irish Parade Golf Outing fundraiser by contributing gift cards that we believe the raffle winners will enjoy,” said Kevin Coakley, SSIP parade committee member. “We value all contributions of support for the parade’s operational expenses as we begin to plan for the 2026 South Side Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade.”
