Queen of Hearts Raffle to Benefit Children and Teens with Cancer

Dakota Inn in Alsip Partners with the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation to Help Children Fighting Cancer

WHAT: Area residents have an opportunity to support children and teens fighting cancer by purchasing a Queen of Hearts raffle ticket, $1 each or 6 for $5. The Queen of Hearts pot is $10,546 as of November 12, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at Dakota Inn seven days a week, during regular business hours. All proceeds benefit the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation located in Orland Park.

WHO: 21 years of age and older.

WHEN: Buy tickets at Dakota Inn: (M - Sat 7 a.m. - 2 a.m.) (Sundays - 9 a.m. - 2 a.m.) Tickets will be drawn on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.

WHY: The POTCF is a unique organization whose services impact more than 16,100 young cancer patients in 69 currently active cancer treatment centers in 22 states across the nation and in the District of Columbia. The Treasure Chest Foundation accepts donations of new toys, books, and gift cards to help support the mission of providing comfort and distraction from painful procedures to children and teens who have been diagnosed with cancer.
