CRESTWOOD, IL — Windy City ThunderBolts fans are invited Saturday, Dec. 21, to the team’s annual open holiday house. Fans will be treated to a backstage tour of Ozinga Field, 13011 S. Kenton Ave., Crestwood, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is free.

Santa. Mrs. Claus and Boomer will be at the ballpark from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (doors open at 10 a.m.). Stop by to see Santa, enjoy holiday refreshments and browse through an assortment of ThunderBolts merchandise.

The holiday open house will take place inside the Bolts’ clubhouse. Get a behind the scenes tour of the ballpark, not typically open to the public. Take a look around at where the Bolts prepare for the game.

  • The stadium and clubhouse will open at 10 am (one hour before Santa, Mrs. Claus & Boomer arrives). Enter through the clubhouse door on ground level west of the stadium.
  • Santa, Mrs. Claus and Boomer will be visiting all of their fans in the ThunderBolts clubhouse at Ozinga Field in Crestwood. There is no cost to see Santa and Boomer but BYOC (Bring your own camera). Santa will be seeing from 11 am - 1 pm.
  • Holiday treats, refreshments, hot and cold drinks will be complimentary.
  • Select merchandise items will be available!
  • The playing field will be open to play catch with a baseball, football, frisbee or maybe a snowball Christmas tunes will be playing through the sound system as well.
