'Silent Santa' To Visit Worth Township Center

'Silent Santa' will visit Worth Township Center Dec. 11 for children and adults with sensory sensitivities. Reservations required.

ALSIP, IL — The Worth Township Youth Commission is offering sittings with “Silent Santa” for children and adults with sensory sensitivities on Dec. 11. Silent Santa will be available from 4 to 8 p.m. at the township hall, 11601 S. Pulaski Road, Alsip.

The lights and music will be turned off in Santa’s workshop so that children can enjoy a stress-free and relaxed visit with the Jolly Old Elf. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required and will be in 15-minute intervals. Call 708-972-7835 to reserve a time slot.

Visits to the Santa room are free, but Visitors are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy or canned food item for Worth Township’s Christmas Care program or food pantry.

Don’t forget to bring your child’s wish last and camera. Families may take all the photos they want for free.

Regular Santa Room hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Dec. 12 through Dec. 14, on a first come, first served basis. This is one of the BEST Santa experiences in the south suburbs, so skip the long lines at the mall and visit Santa at Worth Township.
