Village of Alsip, Alsip Police Department Launch Mobile Apps

The village and its police department now have apps that offer nearly all of the same features of the websites.

ALSIP, IL — The Village of Alsip has joined the growing list of communities offering their own mobile apps. The recently-launched “Village of Alsip” app offers all the information from villageofalsip.org, like a city calendar; volunteer and job opportunities; an online payment tool for vehicle stickers and water and garbage; a government meeting minutes and agendas; a directory of employees; report and service requests, and more.

Alsip Police Department also has an eponymous app, which is also available through the Village of Alsip app. The app features a crime map, a sex offender registry, videos, an opportunity to leave feedback about an officer interaction, a village directory, a frequently asked questions section, a list of local ordinance, and information on the village’s Smart 911 emergency alert system.

Both apps are downloadable in the Apple Store or on Google Play.
