• Alton Seeks Proposals For Wadlow Town Center Development (riverbender.com) — Alton officials are moving ahead with plans to redevelop the former Robert P. Wadlow Golf Course into the new Wadlow Town Center, a key commercial site between the Amtrak station and Holiday Inn. The Committee of the Whole approved seeking developer proposals, and the full City Council will vote on the plan Wednesday evening, potentially shaping future businesses, greenspace, and investment in that 30-acre area.
