• 2 adults hospitalized after two-vehicle crash that caused heavy damage near Walmart in Antioch (lakemchenryscanner.com) — A two-vehicle crash at Route 173 and Deep Lake Road near the Antioch Walmart sent both drivers to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and briefly shut the busy intersection for about 25 minutes. Antioch police and firefighters responded around 5:44 p.m. Thursday, as officers were also nearby for the department’s Shop with a Cop event at Walmart, creating noticeable emergency activity in the area.
