1 In Custody After Gunshot Victim Enters Mt. Prospect CVS: Police
One person was arrested at a local apartment complex but has not been charged after the man entered the CVS after being shot in the arm.
MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — One person is in custody after Mount Prospect police arrested a person believed to be connected to a shooting that left one person injured over the weekend, police said.
Police said that a man walked into the CVS store located at the corner of Golf Road and Busse with a gunshot wound to the arm. The man was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. The investigation led police to an apartment building in the 1700 block of Palm Drive, where they were able to make contact with the suspect they believed was involved in the shooting of the victim, police said.
No charges have been filed as of Saturday, police said, and the incident remains in custody. Police said they will provide more information as it becomes available.
