Acquittal on Weapons Charge for Local Flight Attendant
Palatine resident Sheila Schultz was previously charged with a felony and misdemeanor for carrying a loaded .22 caliber gun onto an airplane in November, 2012.

Longtime flight attendant and Palatine resident Sheila A. Schultz has been acquitted of a weapons charge after carrying a loaded gun onto a plane in November, 2012, the Daily Herald reports.Â
At a November 24, 2012 court date, Schultz's lawyer claimed her husband had left the gun in the bag without her knowledge.Â
Schultz was stopped by Transportation Security Administration agents with a loaded .22 caliber revolver and was previously charged with boarding an aircraft with a weapon, a felony, and a misdemeanor count of possessing a firearm without a valid FOID card.
