AHeights Irish Fest 2018: Hours, Entertainment Schedule And More

The Trinity Irish Dancers are just one of the performing groups on tap for the village's 2-day event.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Why should celebrating Irish culture be reserved for a single day in March? Why not pick a time when the weather is warmer and spread it out over two days?

That's what the Arlington Heights Museum has done with its annual Irish Fest. The event will be held Friday, July 13, and Saturday, July 14, on the museum grounds at 110 W. Fremont St.

Irish music and dancing will be the festival's main focus, but there als0 will be a marketplace open from 4:30 to 10 p.m. both days. The children's tent will run from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday and feature Irish crafts, balloon art and historical and modern games. A selection of beer and wine will be on sale, and food will be provided by Harrington's Irish Restaurant.
