LAKE COUNTY, IL — The identity of the 23-year-old Arlington Heights who died Saturday night after being pulled from the water while boating on Chain O' Lakes has been released following a preliminary autopsy. Jason Sacone died from drowning, and toxicology reports are still pending, according to Dr. Howard Cooper, the Lake County coroner.

A preliminary investigation by the sheriff's office revealed that Sacone did not know how to swim and had been under water for about two minutes before being pulled out. The accident happened in about 8 to 10 feet of water, the sheriff's office said. Alcohol might have been a factor in the drowning, the law enforcement agency added.
