Arlington Heights Hosts 98th Annual Memorial Day Parade & Tribute

The parade will start at 9:30 and will be a tribute to our Fallen Heroes and Veterans.

From The Village of Arlington Heights: The 98th annual Memorial Day Parade and Tribute to Our Fallen Heroes and Veterans will be held on Monday, May 29, 2017.

The parade steps off at 9:30 a.m. from in front of Village Hall, Sigwalt and Arlington Heights Road. The parade travels west on Sigwalt to Dunton, goes north on Dunton to Euclid, goes west on Euclid to Chestnut and south on Chestnut to Memorial Park. The Grand Marshal of the parade is Brigadier General Frederick R. Maiocco, Jr., Commander of the 85th Support Command in Arlington Heights.

Following the parade, there will be a Memorial Day Ceremony at Memorial Park, Fremont and Chestnut, at 11 a.m. which includes the reading of names of area veterans who passed away in the last 12 months, honoring Arlington’s Fallen Heroes and the annual “Remembering Our Veterans” photo will be taken. All veterans are invited to participate in the photo.
