Arlington Heights Police Blotter: Six Foot Tall Santa Swiped and More

The following information was provided by the Arlington Heights Police department.

Wallet Missing

A man said that his wallet was either picked out of his pocket or he accidentally dropped it at 1860 S. Arlington Heights Road on Dec. 30. The black leather wallet was valued at $30 and contained ID, credit cards, debit cards and $40 cash. Unauthorized charges of $400 were made at the Meijer store in Rolling Meadows.

Hospital Account Abused

Someone bought 8 Verizon Cell phones under a hospital health care account sometime between July 6 and Nov. 30. They then used more than $2,800 worth of services.

American Flag Stolen

An American flag was stolen from the front porch of a home in the 600 block of S. McKinley Avenue on Dec. 27.

Santa Stolen

A six foot high PVC Santa decoration valued at $200 from the front porch of home in the 500 block of E. Waverly on Dec. 29.

$3,000 MacBook Taken

An Apple MacBook laptop computer valued at $3,000 from the living room of an apartment in the 2100 block of S. Goebbert Road. Police stated that numerous people had access to the living room between Dec. 26 and Dec. 29.
